COLET BARTOW, Senior Manager, Teaching and Learning Department, OPI. . .

Colet Bartow was the School Library Specialist in the Content Standards and Instruction division from 2007 to December 2016, before being hired as the Content Standards and Instruction Director.  As of July 2020, she became the Senior Manager for the OPI Teaching and Learning Department, supervising Content Standards and Professional Learning, Career Technical and Adult Education (CTAE), and Assessment. Ms. Bartow spent 13 years as a teacher-librarian before joining the OPI in 2007. Colet  completed her M. Ed. In Curriculum and Instruction at Montana State University, and B.A. in English with endorsements in secondary English, School Library Media, and English as a Second Language at the University of Montana. Her first computer was a Radio Shack TRS-80. Her first job in a library was as a third-grade student.

JESSICA BRYANT, Online Professional Learning Coordinator/Teacher Learning Hub, OPI. . .

Jessica’s role is to create online courses and manage the Teacher Learning Hub. Jessica grew up in Rudyard, Montana, and attended Montana State University where she earned a Bachelor Degree in Secondary Education, with Science and Library Media endorsements, and a Masters in Curriculum and Instruction. Before joining OPI, Jessica taught freshman science and coached track for six years in Great Falls.

CARLI COCKRELL, Professional Learning Coordinator, OPI. . .

Carli Cockrell is the Professional Learning Coordinator for the MT Office of Public.  She has been employed in education and professional training since 2004 and has taught pre-school through higher education students.  Prior to joining the OPI she was the Instructional Designer for Great Falls College Montana State University.  Mrs. Cockrell completed her M. Ed. Tech. in Educational Technology with endorsement in Online Teaching for Adult Learners at Boise State University, and her B.S. in Elementary Education (K-8) with endorsement in Reading (K-12) at Montana State University – Northern.  She communicates frequently with her professional learning network of educators and instructional designers throughout the United States to remain current on changing educational trends and technology.
