SESSION OVERVIEW:COVID-19 has placed major constraints on teachers as they have shifted away from face to face instruction. As hard as this transition has been, constraints always lead to innovation. This online presentation will focus on the best practices of remote instruction including but not limited to: synchronous and asynchronous instruction, small group work, technology tools and requirements, emotional support, and authentic assessments. Paul Andersen will model best practices of remote instruction with attendees taking on the role of students. Learn how the classroom has shifted and how you can support your teachers with this transition.
